π Visa
Visa-free entry
Citizens of the EU, UK, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, and most CIS countries (Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Uzbekistan) can enter Armenia visa-free for up to 180 days per year. The visa-free list also covers a number of other countries β UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Argentina, Serbia, Albania and more β with a few (China, Iran) capped at 90 days.
E-visa
If your country isn't on the visa-free list, you likely apply online at evisa.mfa.am. There are two options: a 21-day single-entry e-visa (~3,000 AMD / ~$8) or a 120-day single-entry e-visa (~15,000 AMD / ~$38β39). Processing usually takes up to 3 working days, so don't leave it to the last minute.
Invitation-only visas
A smaller group of nationalities (including Pakistan, Bangladesh, and most African countries) need an MFA-approved invitation letter before applying for a sticker visa at an embassy β a slower process that needs to start well in advance of travel.
Temporary residence-permit exemption
Armenia has run a temporary program letting holders of a valid US, EU/Schengen, UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi, Kuwait or Oman residence permit enter visa-free even if their own citizenship wouldn't otherwise qualify. Because the dates and scope of this kind of program shift, don't rely on it without checking evisa.mfa.am first.
